Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Finance Operations Consultant to join our team at NCG. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules. Your expertise in financial processes—spanning Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, and more—will help shape customized solutions that improve operational efficiency and financial accuracy for our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional lead for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations and support
- Collaborate with clients to gather, analyze, and document business requirements across key finance modules
- Design and recommend best-practice finance solutions tailored to business needs
- Develop and maintain functional design documents and configurations
- Partner with technical and development teams to ensure accurate implementation of features
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and client training workshops
- Support clients through change management and post-implementation troubleshooting
- Provide guidance on reporting tools and financial data management
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and efficiency opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through clear communication and regular progress updates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- 3 to 6 years of experience in functional consulting with MS Dynamics Finance & Operations or similar ERP platforms
- Proven experience in key modules: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and operational workflows
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with solution design, functional documentation, UAT, and end-user training
- Familiarity with change management methodologies
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and client-driven environment
Preferred Skills
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance
- Hands-on experience with financial reporting tools and data analysis platforms
- Exposure to multi-country or multi-currency implementations
