Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Data Analyst/Engineer to join our data team. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end data solutions tailored to business needs.
- Develop interactive dashboards, KPIs, and visual reports using Power BI.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and transform data.
- Utilize Python for data manipulation and advanced analytics tasks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Create clear documentation including BRDs, HLDs, and process workflows.
- Identify opportunities for improving data flow, quality, and governance.
- Support data compliance and security standards in reporting and analysis.
- Mentor and support junior analysts and engineers in best practices and technical development.
- Participate in special analytics projects and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- 4 to 12 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Engineering, or BI reporting roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Power BI for report building and data visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL with a deep understanding of relational databases.
- Experience in Python for data processing and scripting.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience in preparing business and technical documentation (BRD, HLD, etc.).
- Ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) for data storage and analytics.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Domain knowledge in banking or financial services is a strong plus.
