Overview
The Network Security Manager will be responsible for securing and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure. This role requires expertise in managing firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint), proxy servers (Bluecoat/Broadcom), and Cisco routers to ensure high availability, security compliance, and performance. The ideal candidate will proactively monitor network security, conduct regular audits, and collaborate with ISPs to maintain seamless internet connectivity.

Responsibilities
- Firewall & Network Security Management: Configure, manage, and optimize Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls to secure the network perimeter.
- Proxy & Router Management: Oversee Bluecoat/Broadcom proxy servers and ensure smooth network operations with Cisco routers.
- Security Compliance & Audits: Conduct security audits (ISMS, HQ compliance) to identify vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to security standards.
- ISP & Connectivity Management: Engage with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to maintain optimal network performance and uptime.
- Automation & Process Improvement: Leverage automation tools to improve IT security processes and response times.
- Risk Management & Governance: Collaborate with risk management and ISO teams to enhance security policies and frameworks.
- Incident Response & Threat Mitigation: Develop and implement incident response plans to address security threats and breaches effectively.
- Documentation & SOPs: Maintain and regularly update IT security processes, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance to junior security staff and educate teams on IT security best practices.
- Stay Updated: Monitor industry trends, emerging threats, and security innovations to continuously improve security posture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 – 9 years of hands-on experience in network security management.
- Expertise in managing firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint) and proxy servers (Bluecoat/Broadcom).
- Strong knowledge of Cisco routers and network security protocols.
- Familiarity with IT security compliance frameworks and best practices.
- Experience conducting security audits and process evaluations (e.g., ISMS, HQ compliance).
- Proficiency in automation tools for IT security and process improvement.
- Excellent analytical and risk assessment skills to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with risk management and IT teams.
- Ability to lead security projects and mentor junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or Palo Alto/Checkpoint certifications.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and SOC operations.
