Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute robust test plans and test cases.
- Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and improve product quality.
- Perform regression testing and validate bug fixes and new features.
- Participate in requirement and design review sessions to ensure testability.
- Maintain and update test scripts in automated testing frameworks.
- Analyze test results and provide comprehensive reports on software quality metrics.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
- Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
- Strong knowledge of both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Solid communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages like Java or Python is a plus.
