Overview
We are seeking a skilled SAP HANA Remote Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting Converged Systems for SAP HANA, an integrated appliance that combines SAP software, Linux operating systems, servers, storage, and network switches. You will perform upgrades, expansions, and new deployments while delivering proactive support services to a global client base. Responsibilities
- Perform upgrades and expansions of existing Converged Systems for SAP HANA.
- Execute new deployments and provide proactive support to the installed base worldwide using remote support tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality deliverables.
- Direct the work of onsite resources as required, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Work in 24×7 shifts to provide continuous support and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Linux Administration, including upgrades, installations, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Linux Operating Systems.
- Basic knowledge of servers and storage hardware.
- Working knowledge of SAP HANA DB.
- Familiarity with servers, storage, and networking is a plus.
- High analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality support solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with onsite resources as needed.
