Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust, cloud-native data pipelines on AWS or Azure using tools like DataBricks and PySpark
- Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows to move data from diverse sources to centralized data warehouses
- Work with large-scale datasets in data lakes, ensuring high performance and reliability
- Deliver scalable, serverless data solutions using modern cloud technologies
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, BI) to align data solutions with strategic business goals
- Create and maintain high-performance SQL queries to support analytics and reporting
- Translate complex business requirements into innovative technical data designs
- Contribute to architecture discussions and design reviews to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering growth and best practices across the data team
What We’re Looking For
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in data analytics and data engineering
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or a related field
- Proficiency in Databricks, PySpark, and SQL on cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Strong programming skills in Python for scalable data solution development
- Expertise in data warehousing concepts, cloud data lakes, and distributed processing
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- Proven team collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exposure to DevOps and automation principles is a plus
- Leadership ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture
