Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Administrator Lead to oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform. This role is essential in ensuring the platform’s stability, security, and performance while supporting various IT teams in streamlining workflows and enhancing IT Service Management (ITSM).

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow modules, strong problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage user roles, access controls, and security configurations within the platform.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to maintain stability and security.
  • Troubleshoot ServiceNow issues and incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain service catalog items, workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
  • Implement ITIL best practices to enhance IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
  • Manage change management processes within ServiceNow, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
  • Maintain and update the ServiceNow knowledge base, promoting best practices.
  • Provide end-user training and documentation to enhance adoption and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 6 – 9 years of experience in ServiceNow administration, configuration, and support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, and HR Service Delivery.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, client scripts, UI policies, and business rules within ServiceNow.
  • Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs for ServiceNow integrations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with reporting, analytics, and dashboard creation in ServiceNow.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • ServiceNow Certified Administrator certification is preferred.
